One half is automation: designing test frameworks that run hundreds of scenarios across browsers, databases, and APIs without anyone watching, and building the interfaces, reporting, and deployment tooling that keep them usable.

The other half is security: manual penetration testing of the same web applications, probing authentication, session handling, and input validation for the things functional tests were never designed to catch.
